Happy Turkey Day!!

Hey Y'all

It has been way too long since I've shared anything, especially since there has been way too much happening.

So the biggest news is that I got transferred out of Monte Sano after serving there for 6 months.  I am now in Alabaster which is a residential area on the southern side of Birmingham.  Alabaster is a beautiful area with tons of houses, an outstanding ward, and all the stores I could want and/or need.
I have a new companion, Elder Henrie, who is also from Utah (what a surprise).  The thing that is even weirder I think, is that all of my companions who have been from Utah are all from Ogden, Utah.  Anyway, he is a great guy and he has been in the area now for close to 6 months, so he knows just about everything to do here.

With Thanksgiving this week, and the Holiday season now in full swing, we are gearing up and ready to spread the Church's annual Christmas message that will be released this Friday.  I can't wait to share it with everyone we meet.  I know that each of you will find Joy and Peace, especially during this hectic season, as you strive to follow this unique Christmas Message.

I have also been out on my mission for a year now.  It still has not sunk in that I have been out doing the Lord's work for a whole year, and also that I still have an entire year to continue to do so.  I have loved almost every moment but I for sure have grown from the time I have spent in Alabama.  I love sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and I have gained a certain testimony of  the truthfulness of what we share, the need to spread this message, and how much our Heavenly Father is aware of and loves every single one of His children.

I love all of you and wish you each a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.
